The current trend of miniaturization and reduction in the consumption of raw materials and energy is conditioned by the development of micromechanical processing facilities. In this regard ICPE-CA develop micro-processing technologies for micro-electromechanical systems and control procedures in the field of micro and nanofabricatiei. Also, ICPE-CA is among the most active and efficient research units in the country, a fact recognized by Excellence Award for the most effective promotion of research results by NASR awarded in October 2008.
