INCDIE ICPE‑CA offered / offers specialized activities of engineering and technical consultancy, especially
regarding the technology transfer and assistance in the process of implementing the research results in the field
of electrical engineering in the economy, through its CTT ICPE‑CA Technology Transfer Centre and ITA ECOMAT
ICPE‑CA Tehnology and Business Incubator, as well as its pilot stations: Pilot Station of Functional Materials;
Pilot Station of Carbon Materials; Pilot Station of Magnetic Materials and Pilot Station of Ceramic Materials.
INCDIE ICPE‑CA offered / offers specialized testing and technical analysis activities through its accredited /
non‑accredited testing laboratories: (1) Laboratory of Evaluation of Products and Materials Thermal Behaviour
by Thermal Analysis; (2) Laboratory of Testing for Micro and Nano Electromechanics; (3) Laboratory of
Characterization and Testing of Electrical Materials and Products; (4) Laboratory of Electromagnetic Compatibility
and (5) Laboratory of Testing Photovoltaic Panels.
c. Services / Micro-scale production
ICPE‑CA offered / offers specialized activities of services in engineering and technical consultancy, design,
prototyping and small-scale production of devices, apparatus and equipment for its economic beneficiaries,
based on the complex RDI infrastructure it has.

Another important channel for technology transfer is the European network, named Enterprise Europe Network,
in which ICPE‑CA is a partner (under the BisNET Transylvania‑1 project).
In the year 2019, through the BisNET Transylvania project, one company mission was organized and 5
international brokerage events were co‑organized, where a total of 243 Romanian SMEs attended, resulting
4 international cooperation agreements (business partnerships and partnerships in projects with European
funding).

2.5. Strategic changes in the organization and operation of
INCDIE ICPE‑CA1:

Wishing to achieve the goals of the National Plan for R‑D‑I and also to achieve the projects of efficiency
in energy conversion and consumption, INCDIE ICPE‑CA has broadened its research area by including the
conventional energy such as oil and natural gas.
In this regard, INCDIE ICPE‑CA continued in 2019 the assimilation of some employees from IPCUP
Ploiesti.
