        •  determination the specific parameters of the phase transitions of the materials;
        •  determination of the thermal lifetime of polymeric materials, including electrical insulating polymeric
           materials;
        •  physico‑chemical characterization of materials that are part of heritage objects.

        RESEARCH AREAS and ACTIVITY DOMAINS
        The main research areas of the SREE laboratory are:
                     innovative equipment for conversion of energy from renewable sources (water, wind, sun, biomass);
                     increasing the energy efficiency and SRE using in industry and transport;
                     hydrodynamics and aerodynamics of hydraulic and wind rotors;
                     applications of fluid mechanics;
                     characterization of polyphaser flows;
                     hydrodynamics and mass transfer to water aeration systems;
                     determination of energy and cavitation performance of hydraulic machines;
                     R&D for combating the PV modules degradation in photovoltaic power plants;
                     Research in defects in mono and multi‑crystalline cells mechanism;
                     R&D to increase the efficiency for BIPV systems;
                     R&D in hybrid storage equipment for increasing the  self‑consumption energy in PV power.
