Call for papers

The CEM’2024 Scientific Committee invites all interested participants to submit an abstract for the workshop.
The workshop will address the following RESEARCH TOPICS and other related issues:

• electromagnetic compatibility in the fields of electronics, communications systems, transportation systems, industrial systems;
• materials for electromagnetic compatibility;
• electromagnetic shielding and solutions;
• wireless power transfer;
• electricity quality and consumption efficiency;
• electronic packaging;
• the effects of human exposure to electromagnetic fields;
• bio-electromagnetic compatibility;
• 5G technology and health;
• issues related to EMC standardization.

IMPORTANT DATES

Abstract registration: 1st of July, 2024
Abstract acceptance: 15st of July, 2024
Paper registration: 1st of August, 2024
Notification of paper acceptance: 20th of August, 2024
Final paper registration: 1st of September, 2024
Final programme: 9th of September, 2024

REGISTRATION FEES

100 EURO until 27th August, 2024
110 EURO after 27th August, 2024
50 EURO for students/accompanying persons

The registration fee includes the participation in the scientific programme, workshop materials, refreshments and lunches during the workshop, welcome party, banquet.

The submitted proposals will be reviewed and the presenting and/or corresponding authors will be notified on acceptance or non-acceptance of their contribution.

The accepted contributions will be provided within CEM’2024 Programme and Book of Abstracts. In addition, the selected full papers are planned to be published in the scientific Journal Electrotehnica, Electronica, Automatica (EEA) (https://eea-journal.ro, print ISSN: 1582-5175, online ISSN: 2392-828X).

EVALUATION CRITERIAS

Clarity of presentation:
Grammatical correctness;
Math symbols and equations are easy to understand;
The graphs and tables are well constructed and informative;
Page layout is good;
Considering all the above elements, the paper is easy to read and follow;

Technical innovation and relevance:
The authors cite other relevant publications;
The description of the authors is relevant in the research activity;
The authors apply correct technical approaches;
New ideas are compelling and logically described;
The results are convincing.
